Skiing is possible for beginners and families at the Hochplett lifts in Oberaschau. There are two tow lifts available in Oberaschau – perfect for learning to ski and snowboard. There is also a charming ski area in Gaissau-Hintersee. 30 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes of all levels of difficulty run along 8 lifts and convince winter-loving athletes with varied runs. Both are not far from your vacation home. In the Salzkammergut there are also other ski areas that are suitable for beginners as well as for experienced and professionals.
